I was waiting for the previously anticipated 15min MAB, so wasn’t ready for this trade. The 5min ema also wasn’t as confluent as I would have liked so wouldn’t have entered the trade even if I had the trade tool ready.

A choppy ranging day, with seemingly few opportunities on offer. I got drawn into a couple of low probability trades and paid the price!
Three Would Not Take Again trades, as these were low probability due to the market conditions.
The 1min MAB Sell at 13:46 was probably the best, perhaps only, high probability trade of the day. I missed the trade because I was waiting for a better entry, however I’m pleased that I spotted and marked up this trade in real time.
I would have achieved my 2R target, had price not just taken me out above the H1 EQZ (13430).
In spite of this, I should have been a lot more cautious of the ranging environment and the previous failed trade should have been enough to warn me off taking this one.

A good impulsive move breaking down through the D1 EQZ boundary, retracement into the GZ confluent with the 5min ema and PM High.
Moving up off the D1 EQZ, a good set-up with the 1min ema moving up underneath it. I thought price might have a target of the Open and H1 EQZ midline (13494.89).
I missed the best entry at the bottom of the GZ, but this wouldn’t have mattered anyway in the end.
